LIFE is HECTIC...

"Seasons' greetings, everybody!"

Things are a little hectic--I have been getting 6 hours of sleep a night for a week or two, and am completely fried. The Christmas book I had been trying to finish for everyone in the family went off to the printers half-finished [which means they get it again when I finally finish it--the project has been on the shelf for five years now].

The Goat and I are off for the other coast for Christmas with his daughter's family, and my three kids have been here for the weekend, in the middle of the week from hell: we had one damn storm after another, and we are in the middle of one right now. Two of the party are sick, one bad enough to go to the emergency room, and I am so happy to see them I can barely focus my eyes.

Hope you all survive the next two weeks...
