THAT OLD CLOCK THING...

One thing I forgot to say about last weekend:

It was the anniversary of my first laying eyes on the Goat -- the night that my heart stood still, the night I blundered into someone else's relationship, an "open" relationship that turned out not to be so open after all... in short, the night I got onto the slippery slope and into all the ensuing serious trouble.

A happy occasion, surely.

I had looked forward to marking it, but nothing went according to plan, somehow.
