I can't believe I actually just agreed to drive out to the Big Woods the next two weekends.

What on earth am I using for brains?

Or am I not thinking with my brain?

    What makes you think this is news?

    It WAS definitely news in the spring, but it's become very old news [to coin a phrase] since then.

    It's no news, and therefore good news. On the other hand, the way I can't help throwing my heart into the mix still gives me pause, as does my habit of leaving my head out in the cold.

    One could argue that that's where it belongs, after so many years in charge, but it still gives me pause.
