HERE'S A SHAMELESS PLUG...

Having enjoyed the LA Times feature so much, I took Norah Vincent's Self-made Man out of the library. It is far from what you might expect; Male Like Me is actually the least of it.

What amazes me are the conclusions she draws about what life is like for men. Not necessarily cheerful reading for us on the Block, but an amazing testimony to Vincent's sense of fairness and the male gender, in which we have what might be described as having a double interest. Maybe.
