THREE MORE DAYS...
AND THIS IS AS FAR AS IT GOES...
Sad news for the huddled masses yearning for the Troll to expose a limb or any of the large quantities of adipose tissue at his disposal--- this is as close to HNT as we are going to get on this or any other Thursday; there are certain things I just can't inflict on a community of friends. In other words: friends don't let Some Other Friends post pictures they shouldn't.
This is the Very Short Haircut I got to celebrate my birthday, and it feels more than half-naked. In hindsight my barber was dead right when she argued I should leave the top longer: my hair grows around my head in a spiral, and I can sort of argue with it once it's long enough to have weaknesses --- at this point it's just plain ornery. The good thing, of course, is that it rumored to grow back, even if the newly exposed gray is probably here to stay.
To those of you who wondering why I didn't give it up for Lent, I have now officially given up beating up on Flip for Easter; so he's off the hook till Pentecost. And for those of you who keep track of such things, today is Adolf Hitler's 111th birthday; here's to many happy returns in whatever pit of sulphur and Zyklon B his soul now inhabits.
Looks okay to me, but then I'd need to see the entire face :) Gotta admit, though, it saves on shampoo costs!
ReplyDeleteHey Troll, I am delighted to see any part of you. The parts of my hair that did not fall out already are also greying. One day I hope half bald and grey will be the new sexy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing my friend.
Hair has always been easy for me. Taking on board the fact that lack of testosterone is what lets you keep it, was another story. Just one more body blow for someone who always thought he could pass.
ReplyDeleteUnwritten books:
"A Lifetime in the Dark"
[plays and movies in my life]
"Eating in Other People's Kitchens"
[food and the people who make it more than that]
"Straight Like Me"
[think about it]
"Another Pinko Faggot Husband for Christ"
Actually, I am sort of thinking about writing the last one. If I can keep the blog going for a while, I might even have found something to say...
your little
[OK, larger ALL THE TIME]
ray of sunshine
called
the Troll
You are indeed a ray of sunshine, troll, in a day that sorely needed a little light.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll be "revealing" more in the weeks to come!
